46th Annual Membership Meeting
During the annual membership meeting celebration of the year, the Prattville Area Chamber of Commerce celebrated the accomplishments of the last year, applauded award winners, and kicked off the Chamber’s 47th year of service. Nearly 400 people were in attendance including members, volunteers, business leaders, elected officials and some of the chamber’s major partners.
Chairman of the Board Wade Seamon, Market President Trustmark Bank, kicked off the program by highlighting some of the accomplishments achieved by the Prattville Chamber during his term. He also recognized out going Board members and thanked them for their service. Awards were presented to the Industry of the Year, Small Business of the Year, by category, and the Ambassador of the Year.
Current Board Chairman Wade Seamon passed the gavel to Ryan Luchner, CEO Southern Orthopaedic Surgeons. Luchner will begin his term as Chairman of the Board on October 1, 2019 and will lead the Chamber's mission to provide a sustainable business community, build a healthy economy, and foster growth and positive change while improving our community's vitality and quality of life.
In the new fiscal year, the Prattville Chamber will continue working diligently to promote a healthy, vibrant economy while protecting and advancing the interest of our members and the community as a whole. The Chamber will also continue strengthening partnerships and collaborative efforts with the City of Prattville, Autauga County and other major partners. And to ensure continued success, the program of work committees of the Prattville Chamber will be a conduit to serve the Prattville and Autauga County area and represent the Voice of Business throughout the community. By working together, we can ensure we are helping to create an even better and stronger community for us all.
